Someone is autocrossing an Odyssey right now.

Utterly heroic. Especially if they have it full of passengers.

Now there is a Tacoma out there. What a beautiful day. I’ll post a few SLR photos later.

Got their priorities backwards. Should’ve put car seats/kids in a fast sedan or wagon.

STOP. You brought a minivan. That means kids. That means you’re not allowed to have fun anymore. Funtime is over, you have to put on a business suit and scowl at everyone forever. Joy = dead. Even sex isn’t fun anymore no matter how good it is. You’ll both be scowling to a scowling scowlgasm.
Stop having fun. Stop breaking the rules. Stop smiling! STOP LAUGHING! YOUR ADULTHOOD IS SUPPOSED TO BE A JOYLESS GRAY ODYSSEY TO THE GRAVE, GET BACK IN YOUR LANE!!

The only minivan driver interested in driving!

Is that a Mercedes wagon? I was wondering if anyone still made wagons with rear facing seats, other than the optional ones on the Model S.

It’s odd that they allowed that. The rules say no:
Unstable vehicles with a high center of gravity and a narrow track, including SUVs, minivans, and 4WD pickups, must be excluded.

I was surprised too. The PA announcer at the end was like “it didn’t roll over so I guess it’s Ok!” Guy was driving the hell out of it too. It didn’t lift a wheel but it was wallowing and screaming tires the whole course. Wasn’t the slowest thing out there though.

It’s fine. The only time I’ve heard of a vehicle flipping was by curbing.
